About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our team at Select People Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Estimation
    • Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for projects, taking into account all relevant factors, including materials, labor, and timelines.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and develop customized solutions.
  • Project Management
    • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
    • Manage project timelines, staff schedules, and installation teams to ensure smooth project development.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, production teams, and other stakeholders.
    • Communicate project status and progress to senior leaders, management teams, and clients.
  • Training and Development
    • Provide training and guidance to estimators, project leads, and production staff as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a project management role or an estimation role with leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a focus on driving teams to successful project completion.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in metal fabrication, welding, machining, or related trade.
  • Experience in food processing, oil and gas, or manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of CAD software.
