Job Summary:

IMP Group is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team in the Aerospace industry. As a key member of our CMLU team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical work package reviews and fact-finding to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support production planning, facilities, and infrastructure development to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct analysis of production personnel requirements and technical qualifications to ensure a skilled workforce.
  • Participate in CMLU organization structure planning to establish effective supervision and support teams.
  • Collaborate with Leonardo Helicopters to develop CMLU-specific training plans and On-the-Job-Training programs.
  • Manage tooling and equipment setup, including auditing tooling lists, designing tooling cabinets, and overseeing tooling acquisition.
  • Support efforts to achieve LHUK Supplier Qualification (QRS-01) as required.
  • Draft reports and correspondence, and present information to various IMP and/or LHUK stakeholders.
  • Support Program Risk Management by identifying risks and mitigation options.
  • Liaise with all IMP departments on technical matters as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate Transport Canada Recognized Aircraft Maintenance Program or equivalent DND training.
  • Conversant with Aerospace terminology, understanding of drawings, aircraft, and aircraft systems, and Aircraft Maintenance Policies and Procedures.
  • Able to collaborate with team members in a fast-moving and dynamic work environment.
  • Good self-discipline and ability to work independently when required.
  • Comfortable working under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Able to envision how production work can/will be done to enhance planning efforts and maximize efficiency.
  • Experience working with the AW101/CH149 Helicopter or in an aircraft manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Experience and knowledge of Quality Assurance Procedures related to AS9100 standards is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, overhaul, and manufacture, with 2 years of experience in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Familiarity with using Microsoft Office and eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC-Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.
