Sales Team Leader

We are seeking a skilled Sales Team Leader to join our team at Nan's Country Store. This is a permanent, 30 hour per week position.
As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising staff and ensuring that sales goals are met. You will also be responsible for teaching interest or professional development courses and authorizing payments by cheque.
Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including assigning sales workers to duties and establishing work schedules.
- Teach interest or professional development courses to enhance the skills and knowledge of your team.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order merchandise and authorize the return of merchandise as needed.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Able to supervise and co-ordinate activities of 3-4 people.
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
