The Role

The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and related equipment, utensils, and materials. This includes the timely and accurate preparation of utensils for all outlets throughout the Rogers Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Legends Hospitality's policies.
  • Comply with Legends Hospitality's standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient stadium operations.
  • Train line staff as needed or by Chef request.
  • Ensure preparation of all equipment, dishes, cutlery, kitchen equipment, and maintain of the kitchen cleanliness are completed according to established guidelines.
  • Comply with all Legends Hospitality Health and Safety policies.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar setting or operation is considered an asset.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a non-toxic chemical environment.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, dishwasher machine, pot washer machine, power washer, etc.
