Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our food and beverage program at Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays. As the Director of Hospitality and Concessions, you will be responsible for driving innovation and profitability in our food and beverage operations, while ensuring a world-class fan experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability in our food and beverage program
  • Collaborate with Legends, our concessionaire, to design and deliver best-in-class food and beverage experiences for fans
  • Oversee the execution of food and beverage operations across Rogers Centre, ensuring consistency and excellence in all aspects of the fan experience
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Legends leadership, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
  • Lead cross-functional teams to create and execute plans for new food and beverage experiences, including menu development, operational planning, and staffing
  • Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring P&L accountability and contract managed service experience
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience in merchandising, financial planning, replenishment management, and retail operations management, preferably in sports and/or entertainment
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end food and beverage business principles, practices, and operations
  • Proven communicator with the ability to effectively disseminate information upward and downward, skillfully negotiating internally and externally to achieve a fair outcome or promote a common cause
  • Ability to frame problems, analyze solutions, make well-reasoned, data-informed decisions, and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvement to the fan experience
  • Knowledge of the game of baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays a necessity
