Hotel Operations Director

Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott Barrie is seeking a seasoned Hotel General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record in hotel management. Your strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment make you an ideal candidate for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, manage budgets, and ensure cost control measures are in place to maintain profitability.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of staff members to provide exceptional guest experiences and services.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable stay by providing personalized attention, resolving issues promptly, and exceeding expectations.
- Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and the surrounding community by implementing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel general manager role, preferably with a similar brand or chain.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines; proficiency in hospitality software and technology systems.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
