About Atlas LLP Chartered Professional Accountants

Main Responsibilities
  1. Prepare review engagements under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  2. Prepare compilation engagements
  3. Prepare corporate tax returns
  4. Provide tax planning services for owner-managed businesses and individuals
  5. Prepare complex personal income tax returns
  6. Prepare and review compliance documentation, including GST returns and T-slip reporting
  7. Prepare professional letters and emails to clients and tax authorities
  8. Communicate with tax authorities as required
Requirements
  1. Strong business computer skills
  2. Proficiency in various accounting software, including Caseware/Caseview, tax software, QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Office products
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy
  5. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines consistently and manage multiple tasks
  6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  7. Strong work ethic
  8. Strong command of both written and verbal English, with an excellent grasp of business grammar and terminology
  9. Positive attitude and a desire to provide excellent customer service
Education and Experience
  1. CPA designation, CFE writer, or enrollment in the CPA program
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience at a Canadian public practice firm, with significant work in the Main Responsibilities areas listed above
  3. Corporate and personal income tax experience

Pay: $75,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
