About the Opportunity:

The Sustainable Automation Leader is a key position within our facility, driving the development of an automation strategy that aligns with our sustainability goals. This role involves leading and supporting the automation team to improve equipment efficiency, manage control systems, and develop predictive maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the automation team to implement and maintain control systems, including PLC, PC, HMI, MES, SCADA, Robotics, and Building Automation.
  • Develop and manage a change control system for PLC/HMI, Electrical Drawings, and related documents.
  • Manage instrumentation programs to meet regulatory requirements and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to establish strong relationships and ensure required service contracts are current.
  • Develop and manage a Facility Controls and Electrical build standard in alignment with corporate engineering standards.
  • Mentor and develop reliability support teams to enhance knowledge and skills of automated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment locally or through VPN access when required, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Develop contingency support plans for all automation team members and maintain adequate knowledge transfer between team members.
  • Ensure equipment network systems align with corporate IS protocols and requirements.
  • Manage and support facility MES/SCADA systems.

About You:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a background in automation, engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be able to solve complex problems, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness benefits, defined contribution pension plan, and tuition reimbursement program.
