Job Title: Clinical Specialist - Medical Device Pacing

Medtronic is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing clinical, technical, and educational expertise to support the market development efforts for Medtronic products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers and contribute to the account blue sheet and strategic selling process.
  • Liaise with the Account Manager, Strategic Partnership Manager, and Regional Sales Manager for account development and revenue growth.
  • Conduct on-site education and consulting, and support field personnel in providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers.
  • Partner with sales colleagues to develop and execute plans for sales within one or more business units.
  • Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.
  • Work closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management, and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support.
  • Identify and facilitate execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.
  • Serve as a technical resource to support sales of a specific medical product or solution.
  • Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR).
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of clinical specialist experience with a medical device pacing company, or 7 years with 2 years of prior healthcare or engineering experience with a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree, or Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to lead and embrace changes that are customer responsive and market driven.
  • Capacity to manage an account by understanding and leveraging the political dynamic, unofficial and official power in place, identifying source of motivation, different type of buyers.
  • Capacity to introduce in a very comprehensive way new concepts and approaches of the Medtronic value proposition related to support, training, service, and partnership.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Biology, Physiology, Engineering, Sciences, Nursing, Perfusion, or Business.
  • Sales training program completion.
  • Negotiation skills training.
  • Sales and clinical experience in a hospital environment.
