We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our Cardiac Rhythm and Electrophysiology team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide clinical support to customers, including electrophysiology procedure case support, device implantation, troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for our company products. You will also be responsible for educating customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of our products, performing clinical and library research, and participating in case reviews and clinical observation.
In addition, you will attend unit implants and support EP procedures in hospital labs and operation rooms, meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs, and develop business relationships with hospital personnel to facilitate future sales.
As a Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist, you will be required to have a strong understanding of electrophysiology procedures, knowledge of reading and interpreting ECGs, and experience in a clinical support role in the cardiac sciences space. You will also need to possess strong business acumen and strategic problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to travel Canada-wide.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support to customers, including electrophysiology procedure case support, device implantation, troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products
- Perform clinical and library research and participate in case reviews and clinical observation
- Attend unit implants and support EP procedures in hospital labs and operation rooms
- Meet with existing and potential clients to identify their clinical needs and develop business relationships with hospital personnel
- Manage and provide technical support for clinical trial activity within assigned territory
- University degree (BSc or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of medical device or hospital experience in a clinical support role in the cardiac sciences space
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting ECGs
- Experience and understanding of electrophysiology procedures
- Strong business acumen and strategic problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel Canada-wide
