Job Title: Executive Chef
Thang Long Restaurant is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Chef who can lead our kitchen team and ensure that we provide excellent food quality to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan menus: Create and implement seasonal menus, taking into account dietary requirements and allergies.
- Cooking and preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Sourcing supplies: Order and manage food supplies, ensuring that ingredients are of high quality.
- Team supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Inventory management: Maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Quality control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: An asset, but not required.
- Work environment: On-site work only; no remote work options.
- Skills and qualifications: Strong culinary skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, and excellent time management.
Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
