Restaurant Operations Manager

Mercatto is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our dining room and kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Food Quality and Safety
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience
Our restaurant is located in a busy area with public transportation available. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
