Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Rutherford Village Dental and Thornhill Family Orthodontics. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional support to our dentists and hygienists, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and hygienists with clinical procedures, including chairside assistance and instrumentation.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment according to infection control and practice protocols.
- Establish strong relationships with patients, maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
- Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling and record-keeping.
- Stay up-to-date with practice health and safety requirements, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
- HARP Certified, level II with National Dental Assistant Examining Board (NDAEB) is required.
- Previous dental assistant experience is preferred.
- Proficient in the English language.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with patients across all age groups.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
