We are looking for an accomplished Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to spearhead our strategic financial initiatives at E-Comm 9-1-1. In this pivotal role, you will lead the corporate financial planning efforts, overseeing both immediate and long-term budget strategies, capital allocation, and forecasting processes. This position is ideal for a seasoned leader who is committed to cultivating a culture of financial excellence and teamwork, while promoting the use of advanced analytical tools and methodologies to enhance decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include driving continuous improvement within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) division, identifying opportunities to streamline budgeting processes, enhance financial performance, and deliver insightful analyses that align with corporate goals. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee corporate financial planning, budget assessments, and special initiatives, providing impactful financial analyses and reports that support informed business decisions.

Leading a team of Financial Analysts, you will ensure the timely and precise delivery of budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting. Experience in Finance Transformation will be advantageous as you will lead strategic finance transformation projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, automating processes, and aligning financial strategies with organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and budgeting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  2. CPA designation and a university degree in business, finance, or economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. In-depth knowledge of corporate financial management, budgeting, and analysis.
  4. Familiarity with accepted accounting practices, principles, standards, and procedures, including reporting and costing methodologies.
  5. Proficiency in developing financial models, scenarios, and driver-based financial analyses.
  6. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team.
  7. Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information to senior management and Board members.
  8. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, consult and negotiate with clients, and represent the department in various forums.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
As a condition of employment, candidates must acquire and maintain the necessary Police Security Clearance applicable to the position. This process is facilitated by our law enforcement partners. Candidates must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years to qualify. Eligible candidates include Canadian Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens.

Vaccination Policy: E-Comm 9-1-1 has a vaccination policy that is currently suspended. However, should it be reinstated, compliance will be required for all employees.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Wage/Salary: M4 $150,000 to $175,000 depending on experience
