At PHM Search Group Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Climate Policy Analyst to join our team in developing strategies for a sustainable future. As a key member of our consulting services, you will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis to drive innovation and progress in the field of climate policy.

We are committed to advancing electric transportation systems and zero emissions buildings, and we believe that your expertise will be instrumental in achieving this goal. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in public policy, business administration, planning, engineering, or a related field.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of government, utility, private sector, and non-profit projects, developing policies, programs, plans, and strategies to support the transition to a low-carbon economy. Your knowledge of municipal, provincial, federal, and utility climate and energy-related policy will be invaluable in this position.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Master's level degree in Public Policy, Business Administration, Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and communications skills.
  • Demonstrated experience advancing climate policies and programs.
  • Knowledge of municipal, provincial, federal, and utility climate and energy-related policy.
  • Knowledge of the technologies to support the transition to electric transportation (e.g. electric vehicles) and a low-carbon building systems (e.g. working understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and building science).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to project budgets.
  • Proficiency with statistical software packages.
