Job Title: Quality Manager

Frequentis Group, a leading international supplier of communication and information systems, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join its team in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada.

Job Summary

The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards. This role will also involve providing quality advice to the organization, developing and maintaining quality policies and procedures, and conducting internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Provide quality advice to the organization and develop and maintain quality policies and procedures.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of the quality management system.
  • Lead and participate in internal audits and ensure compliance with software and safety quality standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits and lead customer audits.
  • Establish and maintain an Improvements Program and evaluate and maintain a Legal Obligation Register.
  • Improve the reliability of new product development processes and ensure Electrostatic Discharge standards are maintained.
  • Provide EHS expertise, guidance, and advice to management and health and safety representatives.
  • Review and update the EHS management system and ensure compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Engineering or related technical qualifications with 3-5 years' experience.
  • Auditor qualifications and deep ISO 9001:2015 knowledge.
  • EHS qualifications.
  • Proven track record in quality management, preferably in a tech-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Mission-critical mindset.
  • Hands-on mentality and willingness to solve issues that arise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Eligible for Secret Security Clearance within the first year of employment.
  • Knowledge of ED109A and/or ED153 is a strong asset.
  • Bilingualism in French/English is a strong asset.
