- Create, update, and review policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with required standards and best practices.
- Establish and maintain metrics to track the current state of the Frequentis Canada QMS.
- Conduct recertification, oversee, and lead ISO audits.
- Conduct and participate in internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with software and safety quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits.
- Lead, organize, and represent Frequentis Canada in periodic customer audits.
- Establish and maintain an Improvements Program.
- Evaluate and maintain a Legal Obligation Register covering the requirements of 9001, 45001, and 14001.
- Improve reliability of new product development processes.
- Ensure Electrostatic Discharge standards are maintained.
- Provide EHS expertise, guidance, and advice to management and health and safety representatives.
- Review and update the EHS management system, including standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that rigorous EHS audits, inspections, and investigations are conducted.
- Coordinate the EHS Induction processes for new employees.
- Ensure that breaches and any non-compliance or observations are investigated, resolved, and corrective actions taken.
- Engage with management and staff on EHS issues and programs.
- Determine the EHS training needs of Frequentis Canada and establish the training program.
- Provide guidance and advice to management on environmental initiatives and opportunities.
- Engineering or related technical qualifications with 3-5 years' experience.
- Auditor qualifications and deep ISO 9001:2015 knowledge.
- EHS qualifications.
- Proven track record in quality management, preferably in a tech-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Mission-critical mindset.
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to solve issues that arise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
- Eligible for Secret Security Clearance within the first year of employment.
- Knowledge of ED109A and/or ED153 is a strong asset.
- Bilingualism in French/English is a strong asset.
