This is an exciting opportunity to join Maple Leaf Foods as a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, responsible for leading the quality assurance team in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are met.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced and skilled leader to oversee the development and implementation of our quality assurance programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in food safety and quality assurance, with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a supervisory role. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
You will supervise a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their roles effectively. Your expertise will also be sought after to provide input on process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance our quality assurance programs.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have a solid understanding of quality management systems, including HACCP principles.
This is a full-time position based in [Location]. The salary range for this role is $85,000-$105,000 per year, depending on experience.
