Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1231614 BC LTD DBA DAIRY QUEEN. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Staff Supervision: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Team Leadership: Establish work schedules, supervise staff, and provide guidance and support to staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, team player.
