About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Contract Administrator to join our team in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including construction and design, and contribute to the success of our high-calibre team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract administration for projects in construction, involving field reviews, shop drawing reviews, and contractor quote reviews.
  • Respond to RFI's from contractors to provide clarity and direction.
  • Review progress billings and issue Site Instructions.
  • Attend regular site meetings with contractors, other consultants, and clients.
  • Assist in budgeting, coordinating, and monitoring Contract Administration hours.
  • Manage contract administration for several projects in parallel, involving multiple internal and external teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in civil engineering or related education specializing in structural engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience in building construction.
  • Familiarity with contract types including P3, design build, and lump sum delivery methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of construction materials and products used in building construction, with a focus on concrete, steel, wood, and masonry.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
