At CO_1400 Stuart Olson Industrial Inc., we are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Professional to join our team.

As a Learning and Development Professional, you will play a crucial role in driving organizational performance by designing and delivering engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of our diverse workforce.

Your primary responsibility will be to partner with sector and district leaders to create learning plans that align with our business strategy and support key objectives. You will also work closely with leaders to drive a learning culture by assessing learning needs at the district level, engaging stakeholders in learning solution delivery, motivating attainment of relevant KPIs, and supporting learners to access and optimize their learning experiences.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to guide individuals to acquire relevant skills, education, experience, and relationships that maximize their personal and professional potential. You will provide data and insights to drive decisions that maximize learning investment and lead and facilitate interactive learning sessions, workshops, and learning programs.

You will effectively communicate course content and learning objectives, provide clear explanations, examples, and demonstrations to enhance understanding, adapt content delivery based on feedback and assessment, and leverage technology tools and platforms to enhance the learning experience and reporting.

As a Learning and Development Professional, you will implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate learner progress, provide constructive feedback to individuals and groups, highlighting areas for improvement and acknowledging achievements, and monitor and adjust the learning approach based on assessment outcomes.

We are looking for an experienced individual who has a minimum of five (5) years of experience with a focus on talent development, proven experience as a facilitator, trainer, or teacher in a professional setting, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes, knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design concepts, ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and create an inclusive learning environment, and experience utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) and SharePoint is an asset.

The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
