Job Summary:

The General Farm Worker will be responsible for performing various tasks related to crop care, harvesting, and farm maintenance. This is a temporary position with a 35-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain crops, greenhouses, and farm equipment
  • Harvest and handle fruits and vegetables
  • Assist with planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops

  • Load and unload crates, supplies, and farm produce
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market
  • Work in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
Work Environment:

The General Farm Worker will work in a fast-paced farm environment with exposure to various weather conditions. The work site is a fruit and vegetable combination farm with staff accommodation available.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week
  • Reliability and teamwork skills
