Job Title: Farm Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Labourer to join our team at Canada Farm Supermarket Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to farming, including cleaning crops, dividing produce, and assisting with greenhouse maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain crops to ensure quality and freshness
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
  • Assist with greenhouse cleaning and maintenance
  • Help with hand harvesting vegetables and seedlings
  • Pick row and orchard crops
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
  • Perform seed cutting and weeding tasks
  • Clean and maintain work areas
  • Fertilize and spray crops as needed
  • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce
  • Examine product for quality and readiness for market
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Team player with good communication skills
Work Environment:

Our farm is a fruit and vegetable combination farm, and we offer staff accommodation on site.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.

Education:

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.Experience:

Will train the successful candidate on the job.
