About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Harpreet Singh Gill. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
  • Administer medications as required
  • Provide companionship and social interaction
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Perform other tasks as required to support our clients
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a care-related field is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
Work Environment

Our clients live in non-smoking environments, and we require our Home Support Workers to respect this.

Work Setting

Some of our clients may require live-in support, and we offer optional accommodation at no charge. Please note that this is not a condition of employment.

Language

The primary language spoken in this role is English.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent position, and we require our Home Support Workers to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
