Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Tajinder Guraya. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, laundry, and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist clients with exercise and physical activity, such as walking or other mobility exercises
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move clients safely, if necessary
  • Reliability and punctuality
Work Environment:

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in the client's home, providing one-on-one support and care. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
