Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

As a Maintenance Supervisor at Interfor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mobile equipment fleet. This is a key position that requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage the maintenance and repair of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the maintenance and repair of our mobile equipment fleet, including Volvo loaders, Sennebogen and Liebherr Log Loaders, bull dozer, grader, forklifts, and pick-up trucks.
  • Lead a team of maintenance staff and equipment operators to ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement work plans to minimize interruptions to production and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of departmental spending.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment issues and implement solutions.
Requirements:
  • Journeyman level Heavy Duty Mechanic or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with WorkSafe NB regulations.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial setting, with maintenance supervision experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) would be an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) would be considered an asset.
