About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at en Ville Event Design & Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our events are executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our clients.

Team Management

Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to deliver exceptional results.

Inventory Management

Oversee the management of our kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment, to ensure that we are operating within budget and to the highest standards.

Cleanliness and Safety

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Client Communication

Communicate effectively with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and to ensure that their events are executed to their satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Skills

Excellent culinary skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Personal Qualities

Dependability, excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time role, working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and physical stamina.
