Our Human Resources Manager will play a key role in supporting our HR department to develop and coordinate HR policies and practices, ensuring HR excellence, employee engagement, compliance, and alignment to our company values.
The successful candidate will have a focus on Payroll, Health and Safety, Recruitment, and Employee Engagement. They will work closely with the VP of HR and Corporate Services to develop and implement HR programs and policies that support our strategic objectives and HR excellence mandate.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing HR programs and policies that support our strategic objectives and HR excellence mandate
- Providing leadership and coaching to HR Generalists
- Developing manager toolkits on a variety of HR topics
- Participating in the development and delivery of HR Excellence programs and providing training and support to managers regarding HR excellence programs
- Acting as a back-up for Payroll (Dayforce)
- Utilizing change management expertise to drive change and positively impact organizational culture
- Leveraging knowledge of HR compliance matters, employment law, and Health and Safety
