Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) at CI Financial. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and delivering program components of medium complexity.

About the Role:
  • Provide support to the CI Financial Group of Companies with planning, executing, and successfully implementing program components.
  • Coordinate the efforts of extended CI team members, third-party contractors, and/or consultants to deliver projects/programs according to approved plans.
  • Work in conjunction with Program Managers to coordinate program activities within each program to ensure successful achievement of common delivery goals.
  • Support ongoing project management standards, processes, and process improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review plans provided by various IT and business delivery project managers to integrate planning activities.
  2. Assist the Program Manager in managing the successful coordination and execution of large and complex project requests with regular status reporting to delivery teams, program governance, program sponsor, and executive management.
  3. Perform project management functions, including directing, controlling, planning, and communicating with extended delivery teams throughout each phase of the program delivery.
What You Will Do:
  • Support EPMO processes, including onboarding, impact assessment, and estimation coordination.
  • Ensure program and project updates are timely and accurate.
  • Provide support to the Program Manager in identifying deliverables and developing milestones for programs.
  • Support the documentation of all program events and milestones.
  • Support the preparation of overall program plan.
  • Assist the Program Manager with meeting facilitation, documentation, and communication.
  • Oversee the implementation of assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with IT project managers and delivery teams to ensure the activities of all project teams are on track.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and project teams on a regular basis.
  • Ensure each project follows the organization's standard procedures.
  • Identify processes and procedures for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or Management of Information Systems preferred.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or in progress of working towards a project management designation.
  • Understanding of agile and scaled agile practices and holding certifications (e.g., CSM) is an asset.
  • 3+ years working in the financial industry (an asset) with at least 3 years in a management capacity.
  • 3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project, JIRA Software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good at Planning and organizing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others.

Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
