Full Time Certified Orthodontic Assistant Position

Corus Orthodontists is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Orthodontic Assistant to join our team in North Vancouver. With over 25 years of experience providing exceptional orthodontic treatment, we strive to continually strengthen the patient-doctor relationship, foster an inclusive culture, and support our team members.
We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes extended health coverage, a health spending account, and an employee & family assistance program. Our total rewards package is designed to promote work-life balance and ensure our employees feel valued and respected.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, working independently and assisting the Orthodontist in various procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Bonding fixed orthodontic appliances
- Attachment placement and delivery of orthodontic aligners
- Adjustment of removable appliances
- Treatment documentation
- Sterilization procedures
- Patient education
Additionally, you will benefit from a Monday to Thursday work week, with no evenings or weekends, promoting a healthy work-life balance. To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Certification as a Dental Assistant and licensure with BCCOHP
- Completion of the Orthodontics Module
- At least one year of experience as a Dental Assistant; experience in an orthodontic office preferred but not required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Keen attention-to-detail and time management
