Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Super 8. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining accurate records of guest stays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure all necessary information is accurately recorded.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a strong team player attitude.
