Business Development Manager - Supply Chain & Warehousing
Challenger Motor Freight Inc. is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our supply chain and warehousing services. This role will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within this critical sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for warehouse and supply chain service offerings, ensuring alignment with market demands and company objectives.
- Maximize profitability by fostering synergies across various service lines and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Implement targeted lead generation initiatives to attract high-value clients within the logistics and transportation industries.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of supply chain solutions.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for growth.
- Negotiate and close contracts with new clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive long-term value.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on sales progress, customer satisfaction, and overall business development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in business development within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of warehousing operations, transportation management systems (TMS), and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business software applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, or a related field preferred.
