Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Alpha's Discovery Kids Preschool and Daycare. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing environment for young children and supporting their developmental needs.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care for infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that support children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
  • Help maintain accurate records as directed by educators or supervisors.
  • Engage children through storytelling, singing, and crafting activities.
  • Support children in developing healthy habits related to eating, dressing, and toilet training.
  • Prepare snacks and organize spaces for meal and rest times.
  • Document observations of children's progress for educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's development and challenges.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and healthy environment for children.
