About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Specialist to join our team at Ivy Lam. As a key member of our household team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a tidy and organized home.
  • Travel with our family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, ensuring our children's needs are met.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting healthy habits and routines.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering their growth and independence.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding our children, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for our children, promoting their physical and mental development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring our children receive a balanced diet.
  • Supervise and care for our children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of our children, offering guidance and support when needed.
  • Help our children with homework, promoting their academic success and development.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
