Job Title: Senior IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Specialist to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level technical support for Banking Operations technology applications in a 24x7 follow-the-sun global support environment.
  • Perform proactive application health checks to prevent potential failures and ensure IT systems availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Manage incidents through to completion, engaging various IT teams in resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, relationship managers, and project managers to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, applying this knowledge to improve our IT services.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Banking Operations technologies, including payments, reconciliation, settlements, and confirmations.
  • Practical working experience in multi-tier applications support and a strong understanding of ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of Linux, Oracle, MS SQL DB, ITRS, Autosys, Dynatrace, Splunk, and cloud technologies, including Azure.
