Job Title: Social Worker - Eating Disorder Specialist

This position provides treatment to children and adolescents living with an eating disorder. As part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will provide family-based therapy and co-lead family education and parent groups.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide family-based therapy to children and adolescents with eating disorders
  • Co-lead family education and parent groups
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform treatment decisions
Requirements:
  • Master of Social Work (MSW) degree
  • Current registration and membership in good standing with a designated college
  • Appropriate training in a recognized mental health discipline
  • Considerable experience in family assessment and treatment within a multi-function mental health setting
  • Strong multi-disciplinary team skills
  • Thorough knowledge of eating disorders and group work skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

Monday to Friday, 7.5 hour shifts, days and evenings. Required to work one evening shift per week (hours subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary: $44.664 to $57.90 per hour
