Dining Room Manager Job Description

AFG Management Inc is seeking a skilled Dining Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining room. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and be able to lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement strategies to ensure seamless daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Recruit and Supervise Staff: Hire, train, and supervise a team of dining room staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Train Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to improve overall performance.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Negotiate with Suppliers: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible prices and services.
  • Provide Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, including responding to complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong leadership skills.
