Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bricklayer Supervisor to join our team at Heritage Masonry. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our bricklayers and ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of bricklayers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that all employees are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Outdoor work environment, including construction sites and all weather conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
