Job Title: Senior Consultant, Data Risk

Job Type: Contract

Our client, a leading banking institution in Canada, is seeking a Senior Consultant - Enterprise Data & Records to join their team on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of renewal.

This role is based in the Toronto office and reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Data & Records.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering business services and consultative support on the identification, retention, and disposition of records and data.

As part of the Enterprise Data and Records Management Office (EDRMO), the candidate will analyze, recommend, and implement improvements to the EDRMO's governance framework and processes.

They will communicate the rationale for these changes, negotiate solutions to enhance operational effectiveness, support risk and control activities, and advance enterprise-wide data and records management initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing flexible, innovative solutions that provide business value
  • Supporting the operationalization of records-related policies and standards by engaging with business partners across the organization
  • Collaborating with a diverse team to deliver projects effectively
