Overview

KPMG Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Technology Risk Services team in Toronto. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in assessing and mitigating IT risks for our clients, ensuring the integrity and security of their systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and control evaluations to identify potential IT risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to ensure the security and integrity of client systems and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business process risks and control gaps.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on IT risk management best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT risk management to ensure our clients receive the latest insights and expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT risk management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT General Controls and controls-based audits.
  • Experience with data governance, system asset management, and IT project implementations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
