Job Title: Senior Consultant, Data Risk

Job Type: Contract

Our client, a leading banking institution in Canada, is seeking a Senior Consultant - Data Risk to join their team on a 12-month contract with the possibility of renewal. The role is based in the Toronto office and reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Data and Records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver business services and consultative support on the identification, retention, and disposition of records and data.
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement improvements to the Enterprise Data and Records Management Office's governance framework and processes.
  • Communicate the rationale for changes, negotiate solutions to enhance operational effectiveness, and support risk and control activities.
  • Develop and implement flexible, innovative solutions that provide business value through collaboration with a diverse team.
  • Support the operationalization of records-related policies and standards by engaging with business partners across the organization.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data risk management, governance, and compliance. They will possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
