Job Title: Senior Consultant, Data Risk

Job Type: Contract

Our client, a leading banking institution in Canada, is seeking a Senior Consultant - Enterprise Data & Records to join their team on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of renewal.

This role is based in the Toronto office and reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Data & Records.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering business services and consultative support on the identification, retention, and disposition of records and data.

As part of the Enterprise Data and Records Management Office (EDRMO), the candidate will analyze, recommend, and implement improvements to the EDRMO's governance framework and processes.

Key responsibilities include communicating the rationale for changes, negotiating solutions to enhance operational effectiveness, supporting risk and control activities, and advancing enterprise-wide data and records management initiatives.

The role requires collaboration with a diverse team to develop and implement flexible, innovative solutions that provide business value.

Additionally, the candidate will support the operationalization of records-related policies and standards by engaging with business partners across the organization.
