About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Courier Driver to join our team at PB67 Transportation Ltd. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport and deliver messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer professional and courteous service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Sort Packages: Sort packages for delivery, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
  • Follow Directions: Follow directions and read maps to ensure timely and efficient delivery of items.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Transportation Experience: Have local transportation experience, with a strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent client focus, flexibility, organization, teamwork, and punctuality skills.
