About the Role

GSM Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Courier Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to pick up and deliver goods and products to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure all company vehicles are properly maintained and equipped for safe transportation of goods and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Logistics and Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and ensure timely delivery of goods and products.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during transportation.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence for cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.
  • Transportation Experience: Have local transportation or travel experience.
  • Work Conditions: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate flexibility, good judgement, organization, and reliability.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
