About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Courier Driver to join our team at Hurricane Transport Ltd. as a key member of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Drive Vehicles Safely: Our ideal candidate will have a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence and will operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: As a representative of Hurricane Transport Ltd., our Courier Driver will demonstrate professionalism in customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
  • Communicate Effectively: The successful candidate will receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining clear and concise communication throughout the delivery process.
  • Record and Track Deliveries: Our Courier Driver will record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during the delivery.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 5/5F/G Licence: A valid Class 5/5F/G Licence is required for this role.
  • Transportation Experience: Local transportation experience is an asset for this position.
  • Physical Demands: Our Courier Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding role.
  • Availability: Overtime may be required for this position.
