  • Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer professional and courteous service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Sort Packages: Sort packages for delivery, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
  • Follow Directions: Follow directions and read maps to ensure timely and efficient delivery of items.
  • Record Trip Information: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Transportation Experience: Have local transportation experience, with a focus on delivering items and products.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines, and be physically demanding, with the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent client focus, flexibility, organization, teamwork, punctuality, and a client-focused attitude.
  • Experience: Experience as a Courier Driver is an asset, with a focus on delivering items and products in a timely and efficient manner.
