Estimating Coordinator, Qualico Canada

Job Overview
As a key member of our team at Qualico Canada, the Estimating Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Production Manager in the coordination of estimating projects. This position requires a high level of administrative and clerical support to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation to facilitate project progress.
- Provide support to Estimators in receiving, filing, and maintaining quotes and cost reviews, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with the Production team to create and execute spec files and their documentation, ensuring timely completion and quality.
- Coordinate with estimating and production teams on project changes, updates, product library maintenance, change orders, and month-end reports, ensuring seamless communication and project control.
- Support other administrative-related projects or duties as required, including drafting, construction, and seasonal tasks, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role in the home construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
