Job Title: Data Governance Manager

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team. As a critical member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance, controls, and compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and roll-out data governance strategies, policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements
  • Oversee the development, review, and monitoring of compliance with data governance processes, and lead investigations and reporting of any violations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including global data offices, privacy, and information security, to integrate data governance controls and policies into key organizational processes
  • Design and deliver training programs and workshops, and handle key communications to enhance data governance knowledge and practices across the organization
  • Facilitate change management activities to ensure the adoption of changes, and implement measurement systems to monitor adoption, utilization, and proficiency
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field
  • ~5+ years of proven experience in developing and implementing data governance and risk management practices at an enterprise level
  • ~ Demonstrated experience in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • ~ Knowledge of workshop facilitation, change management methodologies, tools, program and project management, and adult education
  • ~ Excellence influencing, communication, problem solving, project management and presentation skills
