The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and rolling out data governance strategies, policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including global data offices, privacy, and information security, to integrate data governance controls and policies into key organizational processes.

The Data Governance Manager will also oversee the development, review, and monitoring of compliance with data governance processes, and lead investigations and reporting of any violations. Additionally, they will design and deliver training programs and workshops, and handle key communications to enhance data governance knowledge and practices across the organization.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in data governance and risk management, as well as excellent influencing, communication, problem-solving, project management, and presentation skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and roll out data governance strategies, policies, standards, and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data governance controls and policies

  • Design and deliver training programs and workshops
  • Handle key communications to enhance data governance knowledge and practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field
  • ~5+ years of proven experience in developing and implementing data governance and risk management practices at an enterprise level
  • ~ Demonstrated experience in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • ~ Knowledge of workshop facilitation, change management methodologies, tools, program and project management, and adult education
  • ~ Excellence influencing, communication, problem-solving, project management, and presentation skills
