Position Overview

As a Food Service Associate at Shiaz Foods Inc, you will play a vital role in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks aimed at maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Cleanliness: Ensure that all dishes, utensils, and serving areas are clean and sanitized. This includes operating dishwashers and manually washing items as needed.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, ensuring that they meet our quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers by taking orders and serving food at counters or buffet tables, providing a friendly and efficient service.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Regularly clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment, while also managing waste disposal effectively.
  • Physical Tasks: Perform various physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain a clean environment.
Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. Candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods while working under pressure.

Additional Information

Applicants should have their own transportation and be available for a work schedule of approximately 32.5 hours per week. This is a permanent position, and the primary language of work is English.
